Yep.
Gave it as rave but fair a review as I could.
Some of the questions were difficult to answer (how is the ride? how is the transmission shifting, that kind of thing, where none of the answers were really applicable to the Smart).
It was like taking the SAT, where you can see a dozen different appropriate answers outside the box, but you have to think, "how does The Man want me to answer this question".
BTW, I've been reading Jeremy Clarkson's books, which are a collection of his (mostly) motor reviews, got to nearly the end of the fourth one I've read, and nearly fell out of my chair. The first car he came out without the typical (but delightful) Clarkson beating around the bush and simply called "Brilliant"? The Smart. And then he repeated himself a couple of articles later.
Wish they'd dated the articles in that book like they have his other books, but it was probably around 1999'ish.
His writing is excellent, in a *snort*snort* lmao *snort* kind of way.
