Just another local Smart article

Here's another local article just done.

Smart Car lover's unite

There's a famous SCOA member in that picture on the link somewhere. I won't disclose his identity, he can do that himself if he wants when he runs across this thread (no not the guy they put at the back of the picture and then made him drink from a separate water fountain later on )

Hmm... is it just my pc, or does the link send me in circles?

BUT... I did find the article: http://www.pnj.com/article/20090826/...908260301/1124

Bum-bling: A couple weeks ago, when photos were published on the PNJ web site, I showed them to some folks at work. Regardless of what the photographer thought, those people at work were MOST impressed by Kermit!

Anyone who is interested, and hasn't yet done it, should check out the other photos on the site. There must've been a hundred photos taken, and they picked only one to put in the hard copy edition.

I've asked one of our delivery guys to pick up a couple copies for me, if he can find them.

Sometime in the next few days (certainly before the end of the weekend) I'll edit down the video I took at the event and YouTube it to share. I got some fairly good footage of that ultra light. Maybe that should be a separate video? Or was it integral enough to the experience to include, do you think? And, who is that little old man sitting in my car? I don't recognize him.

Thanks for the kind words NCC. When the lighting isn't right...olive drab. I think the dirty old photographer liked the ladies better at the other end.

Ultra light OK to include.

I thought that was just some kid in that convertible....

Bum B, whenever I get my smart, I have got to hold back the urge to let you paint my car. Those paints you have are so...persuasive...

Thanks but I might not be that professional yet. Practice though, I have an extra set of panels in the garage. Debating what color to go....

Now, that looks more like me, haha. That kid would have loved to have pulled into the High School parking lot in that cabrio ... in 1971.
