Is it just me? (smart vs. MINI attention getter)

I like most all cars and I just love driving the Smart, it's just fun to drive. Most all other car drivers will point and smile and sometimes give me the thumbs up, but Mini Cooper drivers give me the nose up, whats up with that? Im I over reacting, I would love to have a Mini Cooper also but im too big for that car.

Sibling rivalry? You're vying for attention the Mini owner previously got.

Ding Ding Ding

We have a winner!!!

They used to be the cars everyone used to point and wave at.

Problem is, now they are second in size, and MPG, and Safety. The smart tips them in all areas.

And as the OP mentioned, Bigger folks can fit in the smart.

In my time I have discovered that many americans want what will make them popular/get them attention. Americans like to have people look at them, talk to them, follow them, ect. Americans want to be celebraties. The MINI was able to that for years, people would look, point, ask questions, take a gander inside. Now, the smart is the car that does that and the MINI has gone stale. Soon another car will come out and many smart owners will look at them with an upturned nose or rolled eyes until they can get that car, and the cycle continues.

I was originally choosing between the mini and smart. I took the road less traveled, so to speak. I still quite like the look of a mini...
