for more than a year, I've been using the Meguiar's products, [clay bar, #7 polish and NXT wax] recommended on:

Evilution - Smart Car Encyclopaedia

tried some Mother's and turtle wax products but they were not as good.

also, the meguiar's #40 vinyl and rubber cleaner & conditioner on interior and exterior rubber and plastic and tires, and, the #39 Heavy duty vinyl cleaner works fantastic on all-weather floor mats

Okay, we had some weird wet kinda stuff fall from the Texas sky the other day. I'm not sure but I think I saw that stuff as a child when I lived in Michigan and I think we called it... RAIN. Anyway, whatever it was it got my smart dirty. So much for ICE. I've ordered Zaino products and I'll let you know how it works and I'll share some before and after pictures. Wish me luck!

I have been using Zaino since i got my PT cruiser in 2000. I have yet to find a superior product. A great bonus is that it is really easy to apply, and it does not leave the white wax residue. I clayed my smart and applied 3 coats of Z2. The nice thing about Zaino is that you can apply it to plastic, so i used it on the roof also. As always, i love the results. Although a bottle of Z2 costs 15 bucks, i can get a minimum of 16 applications out of it, and that is on cars bigger than my smart. Plus, it lasts longer than anythnig i have ever used. Even on my cars that a keep outside, the water still beads after several months. I have tried most all of the other major products. A lot of them are pretty good (mothers and meguirs are good products). I just think the Zaino is better, based on my experience using all the products.

Just wondering if it really works, and I don't know if it would make a difference on the panels, being plastic material?
so pwbapro did you ever try the 5 star shine stuff?

I tried the Ice stuff and it worked ok I guess, thought I'd try the Rejex and see how it looks. Since I have only had this one for less than a week, it is still very shiney from the dealer, but I go through bug storms just about daily. Looks like rain but it is in fact bugs.
