Largest US Smart Car Gathering So Far?

I am interested in what has been the largest gathering of smart cars in the US so far accomplished. I believe somewhere between 130 and 140 smarts showed up for the Lombard St event. Has anyone else come close to an event of this size?

I think that's the largest - nothing close to it I'm aware of. They set the bar very high for the rest of the country.

Hopefully the Mid-West Smart Summer Rally will set it higher. If we could get just half of the 320 cars delivered sofar out of Smart Center Milwaukee. let alone all the other dealers in the mid-west. We even have some coming from as far as Portland OR.(Suze has already scheduled vacation for it)

the Dells have a huge no. of hotels and things to do.RSVP so we can have an Idea of how many will be there If we get a thousand or more all converging on the middle of the country Even the Dells would have to prepare!

I'm sure we can if we work at it. I have 123 smarts registered so far. Cube-will you be there?

I was at the Orlando Dealer today... Per Judson, the number of reserved cars is now around 160 cars total and over 300 people to be expected for the Orlando Event. 160 cars in that parking lot is going to be a sight!!

We had 106 cdi diesels at the end of the Cross Canada Relay in Victoria BC back in August 2006, so we are no longer the champs!

Yeah a lot of people are going to be trying to put together a HUGE Mid-West rally which of course anyone could come to but we are expecting most Smarts to come from Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, North and South Dakota, and Kansas!!

That would be awesome!
