Learn how to act like a celebrity when people ask you questions about the car all over.
I give them tonnes of info and offer a brochure, (got a huge bundle in the mail after I got the car.) then they ask if I am a dealer, I usually respond telling them that I love it so much I just wanna share.

Oh, and start saving for mods. I have already dropped $500 on mine, and have plans for about $10,000 more... but need a way to afford it =P

In addition to other inspections and test drive, look the car over inside and out very carefully for cosmetic defects. This will preclude having to argue about whether you broke/scraped something or it came that way.

I understand that Bernie Madoff has an investment opportunity that you might check out!

Seriously, just use common sense and look EVERYTHING over. I'm sure they'll do a 'walk around' with you, going over all the features and showing you how to operate everything from your keyless entry, stereo to the turn signals and windshield washer. You might want to take notes, if you're not one to sit down and read the Owners Manual.

But if you don't get any other accessories, at least get a set of MATS! I recommend the 'smart all weather' mats if you live where you have a lot of rain or snow. I'm also getting for this summer a carpeted set as well to use during the 'non-snow' months.

Good luck with your delivery......

I read the WHOLE owner's manual on Tuesday... not very excited, right?

I'll use my common sense, but I've only had one car so far and that was one my parents bought new when I was 7. I'll do my best!

How much are mats? I don't think there are any other accessories I want. But I want a keychain, actually

The best thing to do is not to drool after seeing the car. The car dealer will think 'gotcha' and might charge more.
