Least miles driven after a year of ownership

I'm just curious how many miles everyone has driven ,next week will be a year that I've owned my smart, and though I don't drive it every day ,I still love it ,just like the day I bought ,I have 6100 miles after a year, and the only problem I've had has been a pesky seat belt on the passenger side getting tangled up

I am close to you, 6600 miles and one problem at the beginning with some valve. Then this winter, my car sat in the garage for 3 weeks while the dome light was on.... so the battery needed charging. I had the "10,000" mile check up/oil and filters change at 11 months. Overall, a perfect little car that I drive when there is no snow or no need to drive more than one person or large items.... other car is an SUV.
This car is a 2008 orphan and I cancelled my original order which would have had less options. Maybe I'll reserve again when the turbo comes to the states.

I do under 5,000 miles a year in my smart, had it 4 years 8 months and have 21,000 on it, it is my second car so only drive it in nice weather.
I had an exhaust made for it by a specialist that was rubbish and had to have the standard one put back on, and I once went over a big bump and lost the downshift on the paddles, a wire had come loose, that is the only problems I have had with the car, it has been brilliant, and I go to loads of smart meets and meet some great people and go to some interesting places, so not only is it a great car, it is also a great lifestyle as well, never had that with any other car I have had.
So here's to many more trouble free miles in your smarts.
Ellis

No way, I put more miles on my bicycle in a year than you do on your Smart!

My car was new 4.19.08 and now has 3150 miles on it. It would probably have more but has not been driven since December 19, when our first big snow storm hit (and the roads became a filthy mess).

Do they have taxis where you live? Or bicycles? Or mass transit? Honestly, what's the point of driving a car less than 1000 miles a year? That seems like a silly purchase, unless you mainly wanted it for aesthetic and resale reasons, in which case that's fine.

Brian,

I picked mine up in East Hartford 4 / 19/ 08, and have 11,700 miles on it. I also had the top down yesterday!
