Little Red in the Shop

Well, I got her Thursday, went in the shop Friday, and today she is back in again. So far, they are not totally sure what is wrong. They were on with Tech support for about 2 + hrs. I ended up with a Rental. I think there are pointing to a bad Throttle Body. Not totally sure, but there is a bad component none the less. Hope they can fix her up before this weekend though. We do have a Poker Run I want to win LOL.

Somewhere on this forum site someone was working on a checklist that you should use when picking up your car. I think it would be a good thing if you could locate this and use it to get the dealer to go over your car with a fine tooth comb.

It had a list of like 15-20 things you should consider.

Here is the path:
Forum>Smart Car News & Rumors>Smart Car Delivery>
Pre-delivery checklist
Enjoy!

Well, I went over most of the check list, and it was pretty solid. Having a bad Component, IE throttle body, you can't see that. It just goes bad. IE having a leak in the radiator after the car has been heated and cooled for 3 days. You can't check for that. As for the connector, well I would physically have to go and check each connector. Not possible when I had to get back to work. No worries, car runs great except for this one issue that is on going right now. Hoping it can be resolved quickly. I do not like driving this rental FORD FUSION. Stinks like smoker too.

Oh, and as for the List, the dealer does pretty much the whole list before you get there. Round Rock is the Best as far as I am concerned.
