We've had ours for a month now and have put gas in four times. The last two were today, after a long road trip.

1st fillup: car averaged 34.5 MPG. Almost all suburban driving, little highway.

2nd fillup: car averaged 32.5 MPG. Again, almost all suburban driving, but this was also during a snowy week so I idled the car a lot to warm him up and defrost him.

We drove from RI to NJ, then drove around NJ in some stop-and-go sububan evening driving. Car averaged 42 MPG.

We then drove from NJ back to RI, almost all highway driving with a little stop-and-go on Route 1 in CT. Car averaged 46.5 MPG.

We're just at 900 miles on the odometer, and supposedly the mileage gets better for a lot of people after 1000, so it'll be interesting to see what happens. But, hey, if I get 32.5-34.5 city and 42-46.5 highway, I won't complain! It's a lot better than my other cars...

Sure hope it holds up that way. Would love to make the whole trip at 50 mpg!!!! Only using 91 octane. Sure wish I had a cruise control, it will be the first thing I buy when we get back.
That's pretty damn good gas milage. My lowest is 33.25 my highest ever is 38.34 mpg. I average between 36.12 - 37.082 mpg. I usually fill up around 270-280 miles, when the little gas gauge blinks. What speed were you driving????? I have a lead foot. I never top off. First click of the pump.

first three fill ups i never went over 65 as advised by dealer, fourth fill up was not over 55, and much under that, bad snow and winds.... at fifth fill finally pushed it a little more 70-75 for a bit and then back to 65 and back up..

much better than the EPA ratings by a long shot.

BTW, my dad (who's an avid hypermiler) averaged 53mpg once.

There is probably something wrong with my car. At first I got horrible mileage but now I get great miles. Even on the way to Orlando the other weekend I made 60
