Made a big mistake today

The wife is driving up to her mother's for her birthday, they are going to see Kenny Rogers in concert... She decided she should use the new car..... First time she has been in it let alone driving one. She took off for a meeting first and was to be back about noon. When she got home, I couldn't get the smile off her face. She did ask if people ALWAYS stare and wave. I said well, yes they do. She loves it and I'm not sure I will ever get it back.

Maybe I need a second one. Hmmmm.... maybe a yellow and black cabrio....

No more yellow from the factory, If you want yellow and black you will have to buy an extra set of yellow pannels and swap them out.

Ah, this is why I love my wife so much - the smart, by her declaration, is mine (she even lets me mod it to suit myself). However (there is always one of those around somewhere, lurking around), as soon as smart deigns to bring the forfour around, it is hers...

My better half doesn't drive the Smarts, I had the state vote and it was unanimous that she stays off the road in any and all motor vehicles. She does LOVE to talk about them which is odd considering the amount of eye-catching cars I've had that she never paid attention to.

Only car that was even close was my '67 Mustang I restored then we drove around Europe in, and it was just a sparkle of interest in that......right before she made me sell it when I got an offer I couldn't refuse while we were there.

Give it time, the waving tapers off a little once EVERYONE gets used to you. Except for the people who still continue to wave every time they see you as they feel like they know you now. That's what problem I'm having now. It been good "friendliness lessons" for me, generally I avoid people as I'm not a social animal most but not all of the time.
