One thing is for sure... you have a LOT more fun eeking out every horse from an underpowered car than you do from a car with too many horses on hand. What challenge is there in excess? People don't go to Vegas because they expect to win... it's all about the challenge... and that's where making the most of your 70 HP will give you a thrill.

I love Isettas

We were looking at all kinds of microcars at one point, was very interesting.
I do understand the fun in winding up a lower hp car (have a new Mini now) but on the other hand sometimes a burst of power, as well as good brakes of course, is needed for self preservation (and in a city full of drivers not paying attention it is not rare) - I guess I'm wondering how the Smart will handle it.
As for the whole driving a slow car fast vs a fast car slow debate, well I can't agree as a blanket statement. I can have a lot of fun dipping into the responsive torque and power of a good handling fast car going slow, just because a car can easily fly to the high triple digits doesn't mean its not grin inducing at lesser speeds (edit: and the challenge at any speed is the balance/control of speed, physics and grip) - depends on the car, in either case, as always ;)
But I digress, thanks again for the review, and if you get any impressions of the lights and such it would be nice to hear 'em.
