Man! I can't believe I did that!!! (mishap)

This afternoon, leaving a parking space which I thought was a pull through, I discovered by the cruching/scraping/grinding sound that instead there was a concrete stop in front of the car, which I hit.

I've lightened this photo up quite a bit to make the scrapes more visible in it.

The damage is only visible if you get down really low. That doesn't mean it doesn't bother me though. This is the worst thing I've done to the car, after spilling a full cup of coffee on the floorboard at the Dragon. Could there be more damage than the obvious? Would it be worthwhile to replace whatever that thing is called?

Most of the business parts are mounted higher up. This looks to be just cosmetic.

I wouldn't worry about that part since it is sooo low and most likely there is a chance someday you'll have to go over something in the road. Now if you would of scratched that front lip............replace (and sell your scratched up one to me to go in my damaged parts bin)

Move to a wetter, colder climate where you will not want to lay on the ground and see those scrapes.

Add a little road salt on that underside and no one will ever notice.

What scrapers, I don't see any scrapes

Its the belly pan. The front skirt clips to it to hold it tight, and it looks undamaged. Just cosmetic damage it looks like.

Aww, man.
You can't even blame it on the wife/SO.

Oh well, life goes on, and the damage does look cosmetic. Sorry for you it happened.
