I have a friend with one on a Canadian 450 cdi... the install was a pain in the ass, but it works well.

He had a problem with servo motor alignment afterwards.. it took a while to straighten out - but here is what happened:

I have two of these units in my 450s. I think they are a great but like md said the install can be tedious. After you do a couple of them you learn a few tricks. My second unit failed about an hour after install but was repaired by MDC after I returned it to them.

I hope if somebody like Smart Madness handles these that problems can be handled locally.

The Scan Gauge shows many of the same functions plus trouble codes but only four things at one time and looks add on as opposed to factory. Much cheaper also. I have both units on one car and love them both.

Hopefully they will have a version for the U.S. with everything in U.S. measurments. I would get tired of converting all the time.

It looks like it's actually over 600 Euros when you add up all the additional things on the left side of the page (adapters, sensors, cables, and distribution board) you'll need to see every readout shown in the picture. Is that right?

It appears you are right- have to have all the adapters to get all the readouts; Euro today = $1.3678 so 600 = around $820.

You can set them up to read whatever units of measure you choose.
