The price savings over those supplied by BoeschBuilt might be tempting but they may not be as high a quality. I bought one from him and a cheap one elsewhere on the internet. I like the "spotlight" brand better than the knockoff I purchased. The switch is better and the color is more white, less blue.

The non-branded cheapo I got that looks just like the spotlight brand does have the red charging LED.

The twist-cap that selects between 1) on, 2) off and without LED when charging, and 3) off and with LED when charging is quite a bit more touchy on the non-branded device. Depending on how I hold things the light often flickers on and off because of the marginal contacts.
