I was on Yahoo this morning and saw a post from the AP "Going Small: A Smart driving experience". The second paragraph says "put down $99 and wait about 9 months". If this were true I should be getting delivery soon instead of next spring as the DDE says. Is this misinformation being put out by dealers or Daimer not wanting to discourage people from waiting?

In some area's the wait is only about 9 months. In other area's like DFW it's closer to 20 months. The AP reporter was probably just going on what s/he was told or maybe what was true for the area where s/he got the information.
