"Missing" warranty and service booklets

I had earlier mentioned that my owner's packet was missing several items. These five items, including the vehicle and tire warranties, were today promptly and cheerfully provided by John, the local franchise manager. They were all contained in a separate packet (Smart 08 Owner Lit. Kit-01, release date January 15.)

weird. i didn't get those items either from my dealer in SD. they must have come in late?
