Molded color replacement bits and pieces for modding inside????

I'm hoping that SOMEBODY will come up with molded color plastic pieces to replace the bits and pieces we all like to paint, to change the inside look of the cars. Since the original pieces just "snap off" it would seem to be easy to "snap on" replacement, really COOL molded color pieces!

My Mini CooperS just had a bright red molded plastic front of the dash and the triangle thing like the smart has at the door. It made SUCH a difference in the look of the car and I felt "Cool"!

I am dying to send my pieces to Babybenz to paint yellow, he looks like he does a real professional job, and I loved Bumbling B's green pieces with the steering wheel part done too! I would just be SO ANGRY
if someone, or myself scratched a piece while getting in or out of the car or by scruffing something against the pieces! It seems like pieces that are molded with the color all the way through would take the worry out of it, and I really think there would be a high demand for something like this for even I would attempt a SIMPLE DIY like that!!!!!

I promise if u scratched it getting it out I would fix it, but there is a 100% of chance you would not scratch since they just come right off. And the paint would last just like the mold since they are cleared 3 times they are very well protected from a scuff or a scratch

Why thank you Karen....I'm flattered...

Just like babybenz said. The paint is EXTREMELY resistant to scratches. In fact, I feel my painted pieces have less of a chance of getting scratched up than the factory painted pieces. I know it sounds weird, but I like the smooth feel on the steering wheel versus the somewhat gritty feel of the silver trim. Just feels more refined if you can understand what I am trying to say but most likely not getting the point across.

The way the pieces come out it is nearly impossible to damage them!

It sure would make things cleaner if you could just get a second set so you don't have to drive around missing parts while they get painted.

I thought that it would be nice to just be able to purchase the colored molded parts like the other accessories, and just take off the old gray ones and replace it "snap on" the new colored plastic ones!
