My Smart gets that uphill, 5k RPMs in 4th gear, passing an Envoy. Oh, wait, was that you?

Well I did get passed by a smart some months ago while going uphill .

I get Hummer mpgs climbing hills. Time to ditch the tank and go green I say!

Now roadster or fortwo...that's the real question...

No it's not, since you can't get a Roadster over here.

It really depends on if I am running a/c or windows open with no a/c or just fan. But I get between 34 - 44 MPG @ at 70 MPH. Also depends on the temp outside. During the winter with "winter blends" is when I get the lower MPG.

I was running 80 or so on a long trip a few months ago. I was running the air (not on the hills... ugh) and was only getting about 36. On the trip back, I set the cruise at 70 with the air and still only got 38-39 or so.

I typically get about 41 combined around home running 91 octane.

Since when? (yes, never here, can't be imported easily, ect.)
Beverly Hills Motorcars - Smart

P.S. to anyone who might buy this car, the rear bumper valence is missing, I'd ask about it or order another one

I know, I know.. GREY MARKET!!!

I was talking about the rare roadster that can be found occasionally at California dealerships.

And also the 3 seater US roadster sounds like a fun concept.

I can't wait until someone hits 100,000k on their car. I bet the gas mileage might be somewhere like 60mpg!

Hopefully in the next 5 days... You know because I'll probably post an ALL CAPS thread on it. Anticipation is rising.

Can't wait for your Monday Green smart review...
