Today my car was running terrible. Stalled out twice. As you drive when it shifts gears it feels like your getting kicked in the ass. Shifts very hard hesitates then shifts. Then it backfires, sputters, and jumps rpms. I took it into the dealer and there first words are it is the doug thorley exhaust. I said wow now wait a minute its not the exhaust and plus that was on for a month now and this problem just started today. They always try to blame it on something always. So I told them you know what since you guys are so determined its the exhaust here, here is my old one. lol then they have no reason to say its my dth exaust. So they asked me do you want to take the car home and bring it in tomorrow. I said no I stalled out coming here the car is not safe to drive right now. So tomorrow they are calling the tech line to see what is wrong. Since no codes came up and all the airfuel and everything was reading right and there has always been 93 octane in it. Plus its not bad gas because they have had a few with bad gas already and the check engine light comes on and it produces codes.
Creepy, maybe it's a prank that took time to have an effect. That's what happened to my brother's Venture, someone put a mix of stuff into his tank and it took 3 months for it to have an effect. The car did what you're describing, and when he got to Downtown Chicago (50+ miles from home) the engine completely cut out. The mechanic said it was a solid in the fuel lines, and that it looked like it took some time for it to develop.
