Really. Dang. I thought they only affect your ability to signal a lane change (or turn). Since I don't change lanes, that seemed moot.

I generally wouldn't use my flashers trick in any kind of nighttime situation other than where there are, say, 4 cars per mile. I didn't use my flashers tonight, frexample, because there were too many cars.
