Whether or not they fix it will depend on if the dealer agrees that it's a "problem, which they may not. It may simply be that early radios were built to come one each time the ignition was cycled, and this was changed at some point along the way. In that case, it's not a malfunction and not a warranty repair. I can't recall whether my original radio did it, but I have a 2009 replacement in All Ball now, and it stays off if I turn it off.
