My smart is entered into a classic car show

Every year there is a classic car show near me in the town of Bristol PA. I have often entered my 1974 Karmann Ghia in the show. This year I just wanted to be a spectator. I drove my smart early to the show and the folks running the show told me to enter it. One of the golden rules at this show (and others) is no cars allowed in the show that are not 15 years old. But they insisted I enter the smart. So in the shows 30 year history my smart was the first time a new car was let into the show. They got around the rule by creating a new category for the smart named n/a. Very funny. There where more folks around my smart than any other car in the show. What a fun day it was. I will post a photo in the members gallerys and name it smart in classic car show.

We have a local car show every year. I enter my Javelin and Matador most times....but this year I will take my Javelin and Smart! Something different anyway!

I have entered several shows in my area in the last 2 years, and have won first place at a couple of them for their import class. I've even entered it in a MOPAR show, where they did not have a class for it other than Chrysler-other (note that 450 smarts were built when Daimler-Chrysler were still together).
