My Trip To Smart Madness.....
Two weeks ago My Son and I set off on our anual trip to Six Flags Magic Mountain from Las Vegas, But before we left I made a call to Smart Madness and spoke to Tim. He was very nice on the phone and answerd all of my questions, when he found out I was coming to So.Cal, he invited me to come check out the shop. Since Las Vegas has no Smart spirit and no after market Smart parts store I took him up on his invite, So instead of Six Flags on Saturday we went to Long Beach instead.
When we pulled up to Smart Madness we were greeted by Boris who had been informed I guess by Tim we were coming. All I have to say about my experience at Smart Madness is AWSOME!!!!!
They were extremely nice to my son and I, Boris showed us his shop and his tricked out Smarts and let my son take photos inside and out.
Now some of you may think this is no big deal but in Vegas you don't find many shop owners that would put a $329.00 sprint chip in a total strangers car and tell him to take it for a test drive without a deposit or even I.D this shop ROCKS!!! I wish they were in Vegas.
So if you have been to Smart Madness you know what I'm talking about, If you haven't been to Smart Madness... Go
I look forward to Smart Madness doing some work on my car in the near future (My Wife ...not So much)
Thanks Guys
C-Ya Soon
Jimmy

Thank you for the kind post!
It was our pleasure to have you visit. You and your son were really great and are welcome anytime. Hope Six Flags was fun!
I remember being a small child and always being in to cars. I was always thankful when I got a chance to check out someones custom car. Sometimes they would even let me sit in it and I would pretend I was driving. That is probably why I am so in to them now.
So, whenever I can I extend that gesture to others.
Look forward to your next visit! If we can be of any assistance meanwhile drop me a PM or a call.
Boris

Yeah, the times I've been to the shop, I have to remember "the wife would kill" or I'd spend a mint. GREAT STUFF.

LOL! When I showed up to Smart Madness my first time I had just sold one of my motorcycles, and had 4900 bucks on me...I could feel it burning a hole in my pocket!

For me it's like a drug.... I'm hooked when I'm done I will probably have 30 Grand into my car but at least I won't run into another one in Vegas that looks like mine.... Amen

It's great to have you guys come by. We love spending time with people that love their smart cars and share their passion.
Friday and Saturdays are now becoming social days where people are simply coming by, hanging out, spending time talking to other owners that are getting an install done or just stopping by to say hello.
So, if you are in the area on a Friday or a Saturday.... swing by and say hello! Purchase is not required, but a positive attitude is! :-)

Great job Boris! You've got the right attitude and to be honest probably have made a memory that will last in someone's mind for a lifetime.
When I was a kid I was lucky enough to get rides in some special cars and on more than one occasion was allowed to drive them when I was old enough. Would you hand the keys to you Ferrari, Porsche or Lambo to a 16 year old kid to take it out for a spin?? What were they thinking?
All that said, it left an impression that has lasted a lifetime. SO if I had the opportunity and the right aged kid of a friend (or good customer) wanted to take the car for a spin without asking I would hand them the keys. (of course with all the lawsuit happy people out there nowadays I would have to ride along)
