My Wife Hates the DashBoard Gauges

My Wife Hates the DashBoard Gauges!

I do not have a smart car yet and I havent configured.

My wife has told me she doesn't like the dash board gauges. She says "their UGLY"

What are the guages anyway. I guessing RPM and Clock" Do I really need these Gauges anyway?

Thanks.

Buy them anyway, they are more than worth the money. My wife hated our smart at first and wouldn't drive it for the first month. Now every time we go out its 'lets take the smart'. It'll grow on her believe me. smarts are the automotive equivalent of a puppy.

Tach is a gas! Clock is totally redundant, but it does give you an analog alternative for those of us who's eyesight has reached the 40+ age.

Truthfully, I kinda like the "boogly eyes" lookin at me.

Your wife has bad taste. The guages are sweet. They're optional, of course, so no you don't need them. I couldn't imagine having a car, automatic or not, without a tach, but whatever.

Why is divorce so expensive?

Because it's worth it!

The fact is that you don't need the gauges but it is much more expensive to add later if you change your mind. The smart look is very personal, I like the gauges since my eyesight is failing.

Anyhoo, you can decide when you configure, I'm sure that your wife's a keeper...

Happy motoring,

It is personal preference.

the clock is redundant, there is one in the instrument cluster in the dash.
the tach is nice and no way to overrev, the trans shifts no matter what.

I like mine, my wife did not at first. haven't heard any complaints in the last few weeks. All good.
