I don't know about you but sometimes at night when I lock my car I do not want my lights to turn on because I have them on auto. And since I have hids you know
I was messing with the car and I found out that when you park and open the driver door with the ignition still running hit the lock button on the button bank and it will flash repeatedly, turn off the car and you will hear all the doors lock. Exit the car, close the door and you have your car locked without your lights turning on
I don't use auto mode, and mine come on too when I lock if it's even a tiny bit dusky. Since I have HID's too, I have to be sure to wait 30 sec before locking to let them cool down when I come home at night. Thanks for the tip, I'll give it a try.

Let me know if it worked
it seems like you left out "...remove keys before exiting vehicle..."
I'm guessing this "headlights on thing" is something with the auto-sensor headlights? Sounds like a pain, esp if you have HID's. Oh well, lack of packages ftw for me!
