Need advice on dealers/service

I have a 2008 that is going to need service pretty soon - I'm waiting for the letter on warranty repairs. I bought the car from a private party last April (it was originally sold in Logan), and I've changed the oil but never had a reason to take it to the dealer. I'll be getting the regular 10,000/1yr service, the warranty upgrades, and a warranty repair on the heater in my passenger seat. I could take it to San Diego (and stay with my son while it's being worked on), Albuquerque (and stay with my sister), or Phoenix (and stay in a motel). Albuquerque and San Diego are about 6 hours each way and Phoenix is about 4.

To help me decide, I'd like to hear pros and cons from people who have had service done at any of those dealers. TIA - sheureka

Sheureka... I live in Ohio, but my kids live in Nevada... I would say go to San Diego to be with your son. I would use any excuse to go see the kids.

Call the SanDiego dealer an make sure they are ready to do the upgrades. If so, go see your kid.
