I had one (actually still have but its INOP). Seems I loved driving down the road honking my horn so much for no apparent reason except to listen to the loud sound of it was too much and I blew it out. Now I need to replace.

They are worth the buy.
When they are mounted they must be mounted in the correct position as on the instructions or they will fail prematurely. I spoke with a factory rep and that is their instruction.

Because I saw the picture on ebay and it's not that great of a picture.

How do I know it is a reboxed Stebel? I have bought one for myself and also installed several others that people bought for their cars. Hopefully theirs are still working OK.

Exactly You got it buddy.

The auction is labeled the same as the horn I've bought myself and the picture is good enough that I can see it is the same thing. Once opened it looks just like the Griot picture. I've opened a few other brands and they were all Stebel horns too.

But Groits has a compact and an ULTRA compact. Im worried that the compact isnt small enough.

That's good to know. When I mounted the one on my car, I DID NOT pull the front end of the car off and mounted it at upside-down or backwards I believe. (long time ago). That sounds logical; especially coupled with my excessive use.

jedi - the one in the picture at Griots is the ultracompact and the one in the auction is the same. The red one and the compact one they mention at the Griots site I haven't a clue.
