New Chevy Volt pictures leaked

I personally think it's ugly -- all these little cars (except the Smart) look alike:

Chevy Volt

The VOLT is a mid-size 5 passenger sedan, not even in the same class as the smart. But, I do have my name on the waiting list for one of those too.

Please describe the Volt waiting list-local or national

Will a deposit be required? when?

What other wait lists have started?

that is one ugly car, the only thing uglier than it's styling is that ugly gold chevy logo on the front, hey GM, your logo would look better if it matched the car. I don't think I'm going to blow 30+ grand on a battery powered car made by GM..sorry

I don't think it looks THAT ugly. Mainly because I really couldn't tell. All the pictures have a man standing right in front of the car. I guess that's why it's called a sneak peek. However, I'm not too big on the color. I'll have to learn more about it before I make a decision on whether or not I like it. I did drive a Chevy for 10 years and loved that car.

It looks like a Malibu and a TSX had a baby
I love the looks of it and it's very aerodynamic profile and I hope the car is a success, it may be the next step in ecofriendly and low operating cost vehicles.
They have a admirable conbination of combustion engine and electric power technology.

But a whole lot more car than the Prius, I drove a Prius this summer and thought it was a good vehicle, however the reviews on the VOLT are impressive so far. Only time will tell.

Here is a review from the 2007 Detroit Auto show:

Looks OK to me. The front is very American but the shape is more Honda FCX.
