New Smart (in town)

Some one in my town must have loved my smart so much, they went and got one just like mine. It still has its temp tag and is the only other smarty in my town.

My wife and I have the only one in our town......

Im sure id like to see more of them, but at the same time it would make ours less unique.

I'm not surprised, but I admire your courage. When I drove through Kansas in June I wasn't feeling much smart-love at all....

Mine was the only smart in my town for just under one year! I got mine in June, 2008 and the next family to get one got theirs in April of 2009. We are still the only 2 in our town. I am, however, seeing more now, although I can still go weeks without seeing another one on the road.

There are now 5 in town here, I was number 3. One day all 3 of us were at the gas station at the same time. People wanted to know if we were a gang or something.

I was filling up with gas, The yellow one stopped for coffee, and the other Black one stopped because he saw us there and couldn't resist.

I got my Smart last month and have only seen one other and that was the next town over! I'd love to see more around but I admit it is fun being the only one.

Is it true there are no television commercials for this anywhere? There must be ads in Europe?
Word of mouth must work or just seeing them around must be all the advertising they need!

Some local dealers are running tv adds, but smart usa is not advertising at all

When I get mine I may end up being the only smart in town also.

But there are 3 smarts that have come to my attention recently:

1. The red/silver smart that passes by my house every weekday...Maybe it's just in her route to work...I do live on a main road...

2. A white/black smart that I've only seen twice within just two weeks. Once at the movie store and again passing by my house...She might live near...I would'nt drive far to rent a movie...

3. A bumblebee yellow/black smart that I've seen twice over the course of two months...The first time was in the school parking lot at the Homecoming dance (that car was WAXED!!!

)...and the second time was at an intersection of US Rte. 12...I'd say this one is close if it was at Homecoming...

Hmmm...research needed...
