Tire Rack - Your performance experts for tires and wheels

155/60R15 front tires.........$65.00
175/55R15 rear tires..........$88.00

Granted, doesn't include balancing (mounting should be INCLUDED when purchasing any tire), but if you're looking for OEM replacement tires for your smart, check them out. I highly recommend them.

I called my Renault LeCar "LeCarcass" I did have a blast driving it though... and at least for me it was dependable.

I loved mine, back in the day...

(of course, being it was an R5 Turbo helped.)

I was really amazed how smooth the ride was in the LeCar. My 1979 was one of the first front wheel drive cars sold in this area. Also the placement of the spare tire was unique until I bought my 1982 Subaru. To this day I have been searching for a LeCar that I could do some work on and drive. Have never seen one in over 20 years. I remember they came from the factory with Michelin tires.

Probably been asked befor. Can rear wheels go on the front? This would allow for rotation etc.
Thanks

the car comes with 0w-40 Mobil 1 oil, which is a european blend. The oil filter is used on mitsubishi motors and there are a number of different brands available that will fit.

I have had no problems with using Mobil 1 in all my vehicles for years now. It is a bit more exspensive but to me, it is worth the added cost.

The front and rear tires are different sizes and widths. If you are seing uneven wear, then something is out of adjustment.

Yes, you can physically install the rear wheels on the front and they will fit fine. However, keep in mind that all fortwos (including European models with factory optional wheels as well as the BRABUS) all have staggered front/rear tire sizing, and with good reason.

To generate loads of understeer (to help prevent rollovers)...

And some owners say that the skinnys have some sort of benefit in the snow too...
