On Jan 28 I was reading the latest New York times Automobile section and I came across lists of the journalists favurite cars, and all three of them said the Smart For two was in the section "Not In My Garage"
this is what those PIGS said, and I quote (word for word):
Dyer says:
"If you live in a city and there are dedicated parking
spots for the Smart (or you are allowed to piggy-back two into one spot), it's not completely pointless. Otherwise, I fail to see the point."
it gets worse with Cobb's statement:
"As a toy, it's "kind of" fun, as a car it leaves much to be desired. for starters I desire a transmission that shifts gears without dancing the "jerk"."
and then, downright nasty with Ulrich.
"In competition with a golfcart, the Smart is a toss up. But at least golfcarts can hold two sets of golf clubs. Whoever decided that this crude, two seat, 36 mpg tortoise was right for america should have his sierra club membership revoked."
WHO ARE THESE PIGS???
I'm writing a letter as we speak demanding an explanation, and also so as to call bull**** on their miserable methods of testing cars.
they are clearly a bunch of cheating Biased scumbags and from this day forth I'm never opening even a copy of that rag.

nothing feels better than venting a bit of spleen....
