Nissan Cube competitor for smart?

The base cube is 13990 quite a coincidence that's the price of a base passion coupe. The biggest thing I see with this cube is more powerful engine, 4 doors, 6 airbags (to cover rear seats), and traction control which our cars lack. I put in a link to the pdf file with the various trims of the cube. I wonder what the city and highway mpg are of this car.

The 1.8 is 13990.

• 122-hp 1.8-liter DOHC 4-cylinder engine
• Air conditioning with in-cabin microfilter
• AM/FM/CD audio system with auxiliary audio input jack2
• Power windows and door locks
• 60/40 Split-fold reclining/sliding rear bench seat
• 6 Standard air bags
• Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC)3
• Traction Control Systems (TCS)
• Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)
• Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

If you look for a pretty car, Nissan CUBE is not for you. If you look for something unique and different, CUBE is very good choice. I am seriously considering getting one, when I will need to replace my PT Cruiser.
And "NO", my screen name or me not affiliated or related to NISSAN. :-)

CUBE

I don't see these 2 cars in competition with each other. If you need 4+ seats, a smart is not the car for you. But if you're looking to maximize fuel economy and/or want a convertible, the cube is not in competition with smart from all I read.

Different tools for different jobs.

I looked at the Cube...a bit on the ugly side with out being unique. I MAY have to replace one of my Smart cars with something that will carry stuff. I am looking at the Honda Fit...
