No One Can Answer This Question

WHERE'S MY CAR???????
I haven't had a pleasant experience with Smart Center Buckhead so far!
I placed my car reservation on 3/20/2007 (Reservation Number 1174)
Configured on 10/29/2007
Got 30 days notice on 3/4/2008.
Her answer to me on the phone was that's weird, when looking up my reservation. She questioned wheither I got the e-mail indicating my auto would be in within 30 days.
I have called three times and no one can explain what has happened to my car.
I am disappointed in Grene Baranco for indicating that she would follow up on the Car on Monday March 31 with an e-mail to Smart USA and CC me in that e-mail so that we both can find out why her computer now shows that my car is not due now till May.
Well she didn't cc me in the e-mail nor has she returned call to me or answered an additional e-mail to her regarding this matter. I phoned Smart USA and asked to have the regional manager for this area to please give me a call regarding the matter. I spoke with a telephone assistant named Jamie that put me on hold and then came back and confirmed my contact information relating to me that she would have the regional Smart representative contact me. Well as you may have guessed that hasn't happened either. I am a bit disappointed in the Smart company and Smart Center Buckhead for shrouding the information regarding the where abouts of my car!
I posted this on the Atlanta dealership forum for dealers also, but thought that a few of you would find this particularly pecuilure.....

You should getting you car shortly....here's another car just delivered to Buckhead. Notice it config date is 2 weeks before you (despite your earlier reservation number!) Be patient man...its probably almost there!

BTW, does Atlanta go thru Baltimore or Jacksonville...anyone know?

If it is any help, i have had the same experience with Universal smart in Los Angeles. I am a couple days behind you and got the call on 3/3. I followed up on 4/3 only to be told it may show up in May. They are so busy they couldn't call to mention the delay or take the time to call or send an email. I would have been fine with that. I realize this is a start up. I am still waiting for a call from Jim Parsons the regional manager. That was almost a week ago.

You are not alone. The good news is that the delay is allowing us to rethink things, especially in light of the poor showing with the crash tests.

I'm the 1178 that SmartCard referenced. I was very frustrated too with Buckhead. When I finally got "the call" and went and picked up my car, I learned that the office only has one phone line. If someone is on it, no other calls go through (they have been trying to get other phone lines activated for a while).

I had fairly good communication with Emily (estubbs at mercedesofbuckhead.com) but it might take a few days to get back to you.

Good luck, and it's worth the wait.

Oh, the cars for Atlanta go through Jacksonville
