I got my config email today but already have the car I wanted, so this one's going to be an orphan. Before I actually do the config, I thought I'd ask what sort of options people want: pure, passion, cabrio; colors; power steering, foglights, radio 10, etc.

Looks like it's still the '08 setup: yellow panels, 9-spoke alloys, etc.

IIRC, I get my $99 back when I actually decline delivery of the car.

You could conceivably config repeatedly(delay) until you desire a newer model year-
choose what you might like

What would be really cool is if you dont need the $99, ask your dealer who the next person is on the orphan list, and ask them. That would make their day.

No, but as soon as he configs, he can cancel, and they will get it.

As soon he cancels, the order gets put aside.
If he cancels once the order is already sent to Smartville, the car will be built and will become the Dealer's to do whatever... floor, demo, loaded orphan...

i'd say just cancel now and not have them build an orphan...that way somebody on the ordering list will move up. if not, at least get fog lights and the instrument pods!
