Even though the link contains "3000" in the title, the smart factory oil change interval has been and remains 10K miles. Anything else is strictly up to the individual owner/operator. YMMV. Void where prohibited, etc.

It's a 24 mm bolt, but if you don't have that size socket, the more common 15/16" works just as well.

65 Nm according to Evilution - Smart Car Encyclopaedia

That converts to 47.9 Lb-ft; sounds like a lot to me.

Kane (evilution) is pretty good at getting his facts straight. So if you can't find another reference to confirm, its probably a safe bet that he's right.

Am I the only one that thinks changing your oil more frequently than recommended by the manufacturer is a myth perpetuated by the oil industry?
