Do you guys sell used parts? I can't afford brand new instrument pods but would if I could get them used cheaper.

Glad to hear he is ok!!!!! This is the 3rd smart I have seen this week. We fixed two here at smart center Tampa. If anyone comes acrossed a totaled smart please let me know has to be wrecked in the front. I want to do a mock up for a mr2 turbo motor swap!!!!!!!!!!!!! Glad to see the owner is going through that car after an accident like this! Yet again the smart is victorious.

Guys it's posted on safeandsmart website already. It looks like the owners name is Morris. There's a picture that matches 100% the damage and car is on same kind of wrecker from post earlier.

Yup, that's the one.

No word on the other driver's condition, so I hope that driver's ok. One thought crossed my mind: Anything you post on the internet is permanent record, so if this accident leads to a court case, it's important Morris be careful what he days. "Brought a Toyota to a Smart fight" is almost flippant in the legal world.

For your own legal defense, never admit guilt (even if the evidence proves otherwise) and don't badmouth another driver with a story that can't be proven. Nothing on the site so far looks too risky, but maybe Corporate screens out stories that are.

I don't look forward to the first time one of these stories is used against a Smart owner in court.

I'm glad to hear the SMART driver is okay.....and hope the other drivers are okay as well. After waiting so long for my SMART, I can't imagine being without it for weeks while being repaired.

Every time I see a story like this, and pictures that go along with it, I'm so happy I drive a smart. Glad the smart driver is not hurt and have well wishes for the occupants of the flipped truck. No one wants people hurt. But, it is reassuring to have a little car be sooooooo safe.

Is this why I was able to slide in an hour early today for my 2.0?

Glad no one was hurt and even gladder I didn't get stuck in whatever traffic jam it created. I almost got sideswiped yesterday.....thinking REAL serious about a brighter color.

I heard the truck it flipped was an 18 wheeler....or maybe I'm starting rumors.

That is the car, As the OP I had the owner's full name but didn't believe it was my right to put his name out on the internet and therefore did not use it. While I use my name on the internet on a regular basis I think that is a decision always best left to the individual.

I believe he made that decision when he submitted to safeandsmart.com so I'm not just putting out the guys name.
