I call my smart center about a week ago to get on the Orphan list. They told me that I would have one in about 2-3 mouths could this happen? Thanks Dayton,Ohio

Anything can happen, including you walking through the Dealer's door and seeing your next car on the floor, ready to be picked up now and then (i.e. a floor sampler being sold for a coming replacement...).

Yep, took me 22 days but could have been immediate if I called the right dealer. Call around to different dealers, even if they arent the closest.

Yes, you could get a call today! It happened to me. I got a call shortly after putting my name on the list. A cancellation came in and they called me.

Last I heard, Smart Center Portland (Oregon) had 10 orphans!

I walked in to test drive and got an Orphan that very day!!

As lucky as I felt when I got my Orphan I didn't get it nearly as fast as some of you, They told me 10 months I got the floor display 7 months 23 days....

We got our orphan rather quickly, it was the last day of a month and I think they wanted to close the books on an up note. Then waited 17 months for my pre-ordered smart. As mentioned above, it's going to vary widely...
