Just picked up my orphan at Smart Center in Edison. It had more options than I wanted but they were Smart options like: power steering, heated leather seats and fog lights. It was pretty easy process, Danny called told me what he had and I said yes. The hardest part was picking the car up since I was so busy this week. But my Blue/Black/Black passion is home now.

The car I ordered is silver/silver with black cloth seats and premium radio. Thanks.

What is that suppose to mean...?

Anyhow, my orphan was given to me with NO add-ons and no extra costs. My dealership was top notch to work with. I have been very lucky I would say...

I was also told, as someone who reserved in early November, 1404, I should expect my car in 3-4 months. To me, this is a bit optimistic, but, I'll TAKE IT! It seems, at the time I reserved, there were under 300 cars assigned to Cherry Hill. Today, that figure has climbed to 1200. People around here, finally, seem to be waking up!
Perhaps Snake Farmer is suggesting that some of the new fortwo owners are being scammed... note above there seems to be at least one dealer that has access to a list with ALL their assigned reservation holders...

We have been told several times that there is no such list or the dealers are not in possession of any such list... Hummm... in the Case of Mike in San Antonio... he got a orphan last week and just this week is notified that his ordered car is inbound... seems flakey... maybe not, I don't really know

But I do know this.... They should easily be managing the orphans by First contacting the first reservation holder, in a specific region or assigned dealer that is in line to get a similarly configured fortwo that has been orphaned.... if each dealer had the complete reservation and configured list this would be exceptionally easy. The current first come first served, friends n family game is really bastardizing the whole insider game and causing a lot of frustration, hurt feelings, and anger for those who have patiently waited.

Any body but me wondering what happened to Kwagar's contact with Shembri and any resultant changes to PAG policy or processes?

I couldn't have said it better. I have been SO ANGRY about the scabs and illogical dealer software. Although I am not in a hurry, common decency would prevent me from purchasing an orphan before those who had waited and played by the rules for up to a year. Thanks for saying it so well.
