ORPHANS Available!

Smart Center Round Rock as of yesterday only had 3 of the 17 orphans left. When I was there around 4 a woman from Dallas was grinning from ear to ear as they walked her through how to operate and maintain the red/black/black one.

Guess my Mom lost out....

I think smart should send the orphans to people that are still waiting. Like when the truck drops off new cars pick up the orphans and take them to the other smert center were there are people waiting for a car. There is a list of over 300 people waiting just for an orphan. Just a thought (i know its not going to happen)!!!

That's sort of how Round Rock ended up with so many orphans -- they took all the ones that the Arizona dealership had. And they've apparently been contacting people on the Texas orphan list.

Probably cost too much extra to be economical for the distributor . . . they are in this for the $$$ you know.

For the 300 number, did you actually see the list of 300 names or they told you that there are 300 waiting. If yes, is all 300 waiting really want the smart.
I myself have reserved and also on the orphan list. Since i am only going to get one. But in the "smart" system, it will show demand of 2 instead of 1.

They contacted me for an orphan(exactly like what I wanted and no extra), but since it is a 2008 and winter is coming, i turned it down.

I know, i should of buy it and sell it for a quick profit instead of turned it down.

The smart center in Buffalo apparently has about a dozen orphans sitting on the lot. They still have a 6 month wait time for custom ordered, but they have most options available on the lot right now. They also have a few sets of panels in each color, and are offering to swap out the panels at no charge to match your desired exterior color.
