Our Red Cabrio Is Here

On Thursday the 16th of April,we assumed delivery of our much anticipated red cabriolet.The weater was sunny but just a touch too cool to fully appriciate the "drive off the dealer's lot/first drive-as-owner of the Smart(not just a mere test drive/anticipatory dream).Despite the 4 or 5 degree chill,we took it out for a nice, long appreciation.Yesterday,which was Friday was even better-the temp was probably 72 degrees.I had the top down and was boppin' along in the beautiful,glorious springtime here in St.Louis.The driving experience is so enjoyable and everywhere we went,everyone was giving us the "thumbs up" or waving.I've never had that sort of experience in my Chrysler Seebring!I hope the optimism and enjoyment of this simple pleasure is NOT something that dissapates over time.It is SO MUCH FUN.

I got my red carbrio one week before you! The weather these last few days have been just beautiful in So. Calif. I love driving with the top down! Gonna wash it tomorrow and start another fun week. My little Smarty alarm doesn't like wind much, started going off every five minutes the first day I drove it. Had to turn it off. Since I live in a windy place, I pretty much turn it off most of the time. I will have have the dealer check it out soon.

Way to go on your new Smart. I recall when i got mine. I took it out for a few errands and then some and loved it. Got more attention then ever, and trust me, you will love it.
BTW a couple not too far from me got theirs this past tuesday and got to see it today as they were showing it off to their children. It is a crystal white cabrio with red interior and a sliver shell. It was a blast talking about his Smart and mine.

And I'm one of 'em! Congrats on the long awaited delivery! I thought rgaus was the only other St louis person on here! Well I'm surprised.

My delivery day wasn't much better. It decided to do a helluva rain storm 5 minutes before I left the lot. But quite enjoyabe none the less!
