Paging Dr. Phil!

I've noticed in life that when you wait a very long time for something good sometimes there is a let down when it FINALLY happens. In my life I can remember getting out of the army etc. sooooooooooooo........

Perhaps all of us could be candidates for post partum Smartcar birth?

Paging Dr. Phil?

:-)

Sometimes the wanting is better than the getting. Don't think that's going to be the case with these cars. What will be really interesting is to see how long, if ever, it takes our new smart to become "just another car."

Or is it "A watched pot never boils?" We've been watching this "pot" for a while now.

The early owners will be so busy answering questions about their car for potential owner/buyers in their area that they will have no time for post partum blues.

I fear that many have ordered so that they can resell quickly for a prophet.

I believe I have asked this before and I apologize for it, but does anyone already have an info sheet that anyone can download and make copies of to keep in the smart to hand out to people that will be hitting you with questions? I know that will be an issue.

waiting for my new, year 2000 (first year model) S-2000 to arrive. that was only a 3 month wait for me. I still have the car and store it over Winter in a garage and every Spring when I go to get it out for the Spring/Summer/Fall season I have the same feeling as if I had just gotten the car.
I sense that I will have the same feelings with the Smart except that it will be year round car...not just a warm weather fun car. So I intend to have fun all year around with two of them to chose from...Now that's a win-win situation if I ever saw one!!
