i think political correctness sucks. so i'll say it. have you noticed the girls that the dealers have hired to be the face of the brand??? ;) the shiny, happy, beautiful girls?...
man, i'd like to see that internal memo that went out on the "type" of people to hire haha. either way, very well done SMART USA!
I have to agree, bmx! I absolutely HATE our PC world of today. I'm considered "abrasive" because I don't conform...but I don't care! People around me always know where I stand.
And yes, I also hate the fact that some businesses hire pretty girls, just because of the package. In my line of work, I'm always getting those 'girls' coming in...and they work for trucking companies! They come in & make googly-eyes at the men, to get their shipping business. Ee-gads...I thought prostitution was illegal!! (Whoops...did I go too far???)
You are right, I wish they would hire those big, ugly, tattooed, pierced, sloppy, crabby, abrasive, dirty, unfriendly, lazy, old, skanky, scary girls instead. They also need jobs.
Hmm, shiny, happy, and beautiful? The ones I see know very little about the cars, are not beautiful in any meaningful way, and perhaps are shiny and happy due to the lack of brain cells rubbing together. Or maybe my standards are too high. What's p.c. about that, anyway?
(Part of this was a poke at the endless, self-aggrandizing "Jamestown 400th" hoopla we had to endure for this past year. Can't you tell I am a Plymouth, MA ex-patriot!)
