Photo of the little one (San Francisco)

Just a plain white and black 09 Passion (no mods, fancy wheels, or paint job) but wanted to share a photo I took of our little one at Treasure Island (San Francisco).

I have to take it to the dealership, since I discovered a fluid leak (oil, maybe) coming from the area near the back wheel on the passenger side. I look underneath and I can actually see where its coming from. I just hope it doesn't take an arm and a leg to get it fixed.

Lemon law really doesn't apply to a new car with a single issue that hasn't been looked at, much less repaired.

Hope it's a quick fix! If the issue came with the car it should be repaired for free.

Only reason it wouldn't be coverd is if you had been off roading.

Nice light in that photo

No off roading. I have the Subaru for that. Although I80 has some rough patches... almost feels like off road for the smart.

We have the smart since late Dec 2008 and no issues except for this leak. I have been very satisfied since we got it.

Does your rear washer work? I recall that Jetfuel had a leak in the same area that came from a separated connector from the washer fluid tank.
BTW, congratulations on your new Smart.

Hmmm, you're right, Jet's leak was on the driver's side.
