Well, I picked mine up today and I must admit that I am impressed. The shifting reminds me of how it used to feel when I was new to driving my '70 VW convertible (my first car, which I still have). That power dip between gears will take some getting used to, but is not horrid as some would have you believe.
I stocked up on the small brochures at the dealer and handed three out at the grocery store on the way home. I must say it is very different from any of my other cars/trucks (I have far too many with large, powerful engines). Time will tell as to whether I truly adore it or merely find it useful as an economical commuter.
I am used to looking for parking spots for a large truck, so this aspect will be wonderful in finding parking spots in/around Los Angeles.
