Thanks to Smart Center Portland for a fabulous evening out at the movies...

The smart car in the movie appears in some shots as a 450 model and a 451 in others.

The question is, "How many smarts were injured in the filming of this movie?"

That would be a great meet and greet event for owners of Smarts; have a group go see the movie and park their Smarts together in the parking lot.

Yup, that's exactly what turned out here in Bloomfield, Michigan.

Not sure of the actual turn out but we had a whole parking lot full of the little buggers, and lots of past smart friends to meet again.

Dave S came up on stage and gave us the latest smart stories, plus a report on the NY "Red Carpet" opening and how the general audience applauded the smart car as soon as it appeared on screen.

Fun was had by all. Look for the movie in your city soon. A2Jack.

The Pink Panther 2 movie is in theatres today; 02-06-2009. It would have been great to have a greet and meet to see it in NJ.

Yes, when you play one of the previews in slo-mo or frame by frame you could see his old 450 then a second later you see his new 451
