Seriously considered . . .

I seriously considered this Kiwi gauge over the ScanGauge II before purchasing the ScanGauge. The Kiwi has less available gauge functions, i.e. outside temp., mpg, battery voltage, just to name a few, compared to the ScanGauge. The Kiwi is basically just a trip/mileage meter with OBDII trouble code clearing.
I feel the ScanGauge II is a much better product and more useful, but as usual, YMMV and this is just my two cents worth . . .

I had considered that one but I monitor a lot of info so I'll maintain my Scangauge. I had considered it for my dad's Smart as he wants a Scangauge but when I did some deeper checking on it a few weeks ago they weren't ready to ship yet. When I pay for something I don't like to wait.

Seems like a reasonable price for what you get:

In addition to in-depth fuel economy information, the PLX Kiwi MPG can also display vehicle information in far more detail than most instrument clusters can. The Kiwi MPG is bundled with the following advanced meters:

* Fuel Used (Gallons, Liters)
* Fuel Remaining (Gallons, Liters)
* Distance to Empty (Gallons, Liters)
* Engine RPM
* Vehicle Speed (MPH, KMH)
* Coolant Temp (Fahrenheit, Celsius)
* Throttle Position
They start shipping tomorrow.
