Here's a smart fortwo pure, yellow on black with 990 miles.....for $21,997! That's nearly twice the cost of new! Whoa! So, does that mean a Passion cabriolet is $38K? They can't even list it right. They called it a 'Smartcar EV-For Two'. Oh boy. Is this a typical used fortwo price or just huge dealer markup?

Hey did you watch the video. I love how he implies if you buy the car you friends will think you're smart. HMMMM for what paying 6K over what you can get it for from smart.?

Just a slightly upgraded Pure, that guy should be slapped in the face for making that car cost that much! He could even barely describe it, "uhhhh........uhh....they call it smart because...uh...it's made mostly out of recycled material!"
That's why I haven't been able to buy any at auction... the starting bids are waaaay above what they cost new.
FWIW- I went to the auction lot today to inspect a Cabrio. I got down there and it's nice and clean but it doesn't have leather, heated seats (basically the comfort package) or power steering.
I'm going to watch the auction tomorrow morning but I highly doubt I'll be acquiring it.
The smart outlet here in Omaha has about 16 or so, just sitting on the lot, and I've seen about 4 or 5 running around town. Why would anyone be anti-smart enough to buy this $22K one when they can get a passion coupe or cabrio for less? Wow.

THere is just something wrong with a comercial enterprise using craigs list. Especialy when they don't pay and have that little disclamer at the bottom
