Pricing Policy for a new Smart?

Looking seriously at purchasing a new Smart in the US (or at least getting on the list). I have heard through the grape vine that the pricing for these cars is not a negotiable item (i.e. window sticker is the best you can do).

Is this correct or maybe a regional thing?

I'd imagine that what you've heard is true. They likely are not going to discount something that has 2 years worth of people on a waiting list dying to buy

smart USA - open your mind to the car that challenges the status quo

You agree to buy the car at MSRP when you complete your $99 reservation; the dealers agrees not to charge over MSRP [ not including tax, title, dealer fees, etc.]
