Heard that many new 2008's are having problems, a recall already, clutch actuator problems, and overheating.
Are dealers delivering for the prices promised?
Would appreciate new owners sharing experiences, bad or good.

Did the blood stain the interior due to poor fabric protection? This would definitely be another problem that needs to be addressed.

Could anyone share (and post pics) of scotch guard removal, and re-install (after wash for blood stain cleaning?)

Blood is still there. My hands are too bandaged to clean up. This car was so expensive that I cannot afford a professional cleaning. I will post pictures as soon as I am healed. BTW, the dealer says it will be 8 weeks before the new roof arrives.

Belkin666, odd choice of number there. Can you explain that?

I have had no problems with my car and I got it for MSRP. THe only complaint that I have is that I felt that my doc fee was too high. Especially since I had to go to the DMV myself for license and title work. While at the DMV, someone scratched my new smartcar. If this scares you, I suggest you not get a smart.
