Production number

I was given my production number by Jordan in RR at 430 am this morning (I have no clue why he was up that early) but I was wondering what I could do with that number. Any ideas how to read it?

This is my production number, and my car is being made today, November 10, 2008, if that helps to decipher it. If they had the order number, they should have been able to tell you what day the car was scheduled to be produced. Call them back and ask for the production date.

As far as I know, smart gives chronological production numbers independently of model, options and destination. Don't know if it helps?

They couldnt tell me what day it will be produced. They said all they could see is "production pending", "production completed", "shipped"

AT 3 hrs a car, who knows!

The way these cars are produced a lot of people need to nkow the exact time that the car is going to be assembled. The parts arrive from the suppliers at eh same minute that the car rolls down the line. The dealership should have been able to tell you what the day was, but maybe they can't I don't know. My dealership was able to tell me, and so Keshyathree would have been able to tell me the moment the tridion cell would have arrived. Production goes by a very strict schedule. I just know that my car had to go down the line today. They are 8 hours ahead, so my car should be out int he back lot or already loaded and on the way out.
